He was born on November 3, 1931 in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia to the late Harry W.

and Myrtle (Sydenstricker) Knapp. Marshall worked for Alton Foundry and retired from He enjoyed shing and camping. Marshall is survived by his son Marshall Knapp Jr, daughter in law Gloria Knapp; daughter Kathi (Michael) Clary, son Rick (Karen Francisco) Knapp, daughter Dianna (Carl) Larson, son Danny Knapp, son Rusty (Joyce Stevens) Knapp; grandchildren: Christina (Sherman) Morris, Andy Knapp, Stephanie Mitchell, Shawn Kilbarger, Ronnie Lutz, Trisha Stuber, Diana Knapp, Kimberly Knapp, Bobby Knapp, Carl (Robin) Larson 12 great grandchildren; brothers Lonnie Knapp and Jimmy Knapp, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Glenna L. Roby sister Nellie Davis, brothers Charlie, Harrison, Jesse, John, Gordon, and David Knapp.

Funeral Services will be conducted at Wednesday February 8, 2017 at the Sheridan Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Knapp PLEASANTVILLE: Gail Edwin Wood, 95, of Pleasantville, died peacefully at his home on Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born November 15, 1921 in Pleasantville, Ohio the son of George Edward and Gaie Lucille (Buchanan) Wood. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving the Campaign during WWII. He was the produce manager for IGA grocery for 32 years. He was a lifetime member of the Lancaster Pistol and Association and served on the Hampson Cemetery board for many years.

He enjoyed his muzzleloaders, nishing wood and woodworking. Woody is survived by the true love of his life, Patricia Nan (Winland) Wood, whom he married on December 3, 1988; stepchildren, Ronald Keith Green, Connie (Paul) Green-Litzinger and Lori Ann Green; 2 step-grandchildren; 7 great-stepchildren; sister, Georgia Brenner; sisters-in-law, Ann (Bill) Nutter and Molly (Don) Hampshire; brother-in-law, Brad (Cindy) Winland; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roland Wood; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Wood; and brother- in-law, William Brenner. A memorial service will take place Thursday at 10 AM with one hour prior visitation at the Pleasantville United Methodist Church with Pastor Vera Welker ciating. Graveside and military services will follow at Hampson Cemetery, Pleasantville.

Peggy attended the Amanda U.M. Church, and was a member of Olivedale Senior Center. She had previously worked in the cash ce for Lazarus Department Store for over 12 years. Peggy was a huge fan of her great sporting events, always attending their baseball, football and basketball games. She was a proud member of the Elite Baseball family.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Shirley (Gene) Miller of Amanda, Patricia (Ernie) Andrews of California, and Vicki (Steve) Cordle of Amanda; grandchildren, Mandy (Justin) Cassley, Michele Andrews and Michael Andrews; great grandsons, Peyton and Kole Cassley; and great granddaughter, Faith Gibson; step grandchildren, Michele (Ken) Dille, Melissa (Norm) Tremblay, and ackie (Gene) Bailey; 6 step great grandchildren, and 2 step great great grandchildren.
