On Tuesday, MSBA, in partnership with UW Foster MSIS, sponsored this year's Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide Puget Sound Conference. Our current students, Michelle W., Rachana Chetan, and Caroline (Yuxin) Chen, were able to attend the event, hearing female leaders and innovators in the data science space share their insights and latest trends and discuss the future of Data Science and Machine Learning. We were also so excited to see Yashaswini A. MSBA '23 opening and closing the event! It was great connecting with such an incredible network of female leaders! #womeninstem #UWFosterBusinessAnayltics

🚀 Ready to rock that mock interview this Friday? Elevate your resume game with these pro tips! 💼1. Resume Draft:The UW Seattle Career & Internship Center recommends the following resume format:• One page (2 pages for individuals with extensive professional experience)• 10 – 12 size serif font• Page margins between ¾ and 1 inch• Use white space on your resume, so it doesn’t look crammed with too much text• Free templates here: https://lnkd.in/e9UbX4Tm2. Showcasing your skills:Example: For a role in Business Analytics, spotlight proficiency in tools like SQL and Tableau. In Supply Chain Management, emphasize skills in demand forecasting and logistics coordination. Tailor each resume to the specific job requirements. 💡3. Quantify Your Achievements:Numbers add credibility and showcase tangible contributions. For example, rather than stating "Increased sales," specify "Boosted quarterly sales by 15% through targeted marketing strategies." 📈4. Tailor Each Version:Customize your resume for each job application. For example, if applying for a project management role, align your experience with phrases from the job description like "Cross-functional collaboration" or "Budget management." Mirror their language for impact. 🤝Stand out in the competitive job market with your top-notch resume! 🔥 #ResumeTips #CareerDevelopment #JobSearchSuccess 🌟 #uwfostermscm #uwfostermsba
