Way above me on the 38th story of this High-rise in Panama is a zip-line.The zip-line goes between two buildings and zooms the riders across the busy city streets 38 stories below.I declined signing up, because even the thought of looking below with only a wire and harness as my "trust " factors, stirred my stomach acid.🤢But, ever since my decision to not face my fear, I have been haunted by it. I am determined to add zip-lining to my bucket list.Afterall, I teach this stuff. 📶Talking and Listening in the Real World💡In most communication training you learn about assertiveness skills, the "I-message formula," and ways to paraphrase, also known as active listening. I find that people are reluctant to use these skills because they seem unnatural.
